Why should I start slow when taking a probiotic?

Killing off harmful bacteria in your gut is one of the benefits of probiotics. You may not feel well when you first start taking probiotics because, as it dies, the harmful bacteria will release toxins in your body. This is known as a "die off reaction" or Herxheimer Reaction. Common symptoms of die off are diarrhea, bloating, and headache. As your body is working to flush out the dead bacteria and toxins, it can feel as if your symptoms are temporarily getting worse, which can be alarming, but it does get better! Symptoms go away as the toxins are flushed out and as you build up your healthy gut bacteria. We recommend starting slow when first taking probiotics to minimize die off symptoms.

I meant to say the product does NOT mix well.

A staple, but change dissolving

I have bought this same product for almost a year, love it. I have it every morning and sometimes at night for gut health. It truly works. However this last order i received does not dissolve as well in my lemon water. It has in the past, but for some reason this batch did not. Still a helpful product. Highly recommend!

Welcome back in my life!

I had forgotten about this supplement. I used to eat it years ago but then forgot and was recently reminded by my nutritionist to eat it after a meal where I feel bloated. As I’m trying to add new foods back in my diet this has proved helpful to keep my digestion in check. It’s a lot and keeps in refrig cuz I don’t need a lot for it to be working. Thanks!
